Order requirements

We want to make the process of ordering your medication seamless. Below is everything you need to know about qualifying to order through Banting.

Shipping considerations

Why should I be getting my insulin delivered from Banting vs. picking it up at my local pharmacy?

Banting can get your insulin delivered safely to your doorstep without the hassle of long pick up lines at the pharmacy or large copays.

Because Banting allows you to order from licensed pharmacies in Canada, you get to purchase insulin and other medications at 70% off prices in the U.S.

How far in advance should I order insulin?

To ensure you never face a shortage of medication, we recommend ordering your insulin 2 weeks in advance.

Will my insulin go bad during shipping?

During shipping, your packaged insulin will maintain a temperature range of 2℃ – 8℃ (36℉ – 46℉).

Once your insulin has arrived, immediately store in the refrigerator until opened. Then once opened refer to manufacturers instructions on your vial/pen.

What should I see inside my package along with my medication?

Inside your package, you should find your insulin along with cold gel packs.

Who do I contact if I think my insulin is no longer safe for use upon delivery?

If you believe your insulin was not shipped properly and is no longer safe for use, please email us at team@banting.co within 24 hours of receiving your order.
